Strampelli and Mannetti at Assaggi

Viterbo hosts the first major edition of Assaggi, the Food and Wine Exhibition dedicated to Lazio's food and wine specialities and excellence.

From 30 September to 3 October, Palazzo dei Papi, a true historical symbol of the city of Viterbo, will welcome more than 60 food and wine enterprises.

Enthusiasts and the curious will be able to discover the authentic flavours, fragrances and traditions of Lazio. This is why Mannetti pasta and Strampelli pasta could not be absent. With their consistency and porosity, they preserve an important heritage: the wisdom of craftsmanship.

Mannetti durum wheat semolina pasta returns to revive the tradition of historic pasta from Antrodoco, in the heart of the Central Apennines. A genuine pasta that preserves the flavours of the past, ideal for enhancing traditional dishes.

Strampelli pasta boasts the prestigious DE.CO. (Communal Denomination), from the Municipality of Amatrice: the absolute purity of the ingredients and the accurate processing method are a guarantee of Made in Italy.

Lovers of good food will appreciate the unique flavour of traditional dishes such as Amatriciana and Gricia: Mannetti pasta and Strampelli pasta capture the sauce and enhance the taste.

At the Salone dell'Enogastronomia Laziale there will be events and tastings, sensory educational activities for children, and a space dedicated to Latium street food.
